The event, on 3 December, is a grassroots, UK-wide campaign which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to shop local.

Road Closures for Remembrance Sunday

Road Closures for Remembrance Sunday

There will be a temporary road closure for Kettering's Remembrance parade on Sunday 13 November 2022.

The closure will affect the following roads between 1pm to 5pm:
Market Street
Market Place
Sheep Street

These stretches of road will be marshalled by One Way Traffic Management and emergency access will be enabled during this time.

Kettering Food and Drink festival returns this autumn on Saturday 15 October, from 10am to 6pm at Kettering Market Place.

Elderly can claim help with winter fuel bills

Help with heating bills this winter poster

Grants to help with winter fuel bills are being offered to elderly people living alone this winter. The grants are available to residents of Kettering and Barton Seagrave.

People claiming the money must not have more than £300 income per week, excluding benefits, and must be over the statutory retirement age.

Free defibrillator training

The North Northamptonshire First Responders Team, in conjunction with East Midlands Ambulance Service, are providing free defibrillator training at the Crescents Community Centre, Laburnham Crescent, Kettering, starting at 6.30pm on Monday 10th October. The session runs until 8pm. It's free and all are welcome.
