Disco fever comes to Kettering
Back by popular demand the Friday Night Discos return to Kettering for 2024.
DJs Bill Burton and Dave Bellamy will be taking over Kettering Market Place and this year the dances will be bigger and better with an extra date planned next month.

Cultural cash boost for town projects
A project bringing alive the Roman history of Kettering, a record attempt and a drive to get more youngsters reading have been given a funding boost.
Kettering Cultural Consortium has agreed to fund a variety of projects to boost the cultural activity in the town.

Get ready - Kettfest is coming!
Bands are being booked, stages are being set, entertainers are practising and traders are stocking up for the return of Kettfest.
Taking over the town for the day, the celebration of Kettering is back and it's even bigger and better than last year.

Easter trail comes to town
Easter fun can be found in Kettering town centre this spring with a free trail around the shops.
Youngsters can get a trail sheet from any of the venues on the trail and then follow the map around town to find all the hidden eggs.
When they've unscrambled the secret letters, youngsters must crack the code to find the missing word to claim a delicious prize.

Kettering Community Summer Market
A special market to support and celebrate Kettering groups is being held in the town centre.
Charities, voluntary organisations and local groups can apply for a market stall for free, at the event on Saturday 8 June.
The Kettering Community Summer Market was first held last year on the evening of the summer solstice, but due to its popularity the event is being moved to the weekend.

Local bands sought for town gigs
Talented local musicians are being sought for a series of concerts in Kettering this summer.
The popular Bands In The Park series runs from June to the end of August, in the historic Rockingham Road bandstand.
Now, Kettering Town Council is looking for local bands, groups, choirs and musicians to perform for the Sunday afternoon slots.

Hunt for talent for local events
A shout has gone out for performers to bring entertainment into the town centre this summer.
Kettering Town Council is organising the Summer Saturday events on the last Saturday of the month from April to July.
Each event will have a different feel, with entertainment and activities planned according to that month's theme.

Vegan event returns to town centre
A specialist vegan market will be returning to Kettering as part of the town council's events this Easter.
The Kettering Vegan Market will take over the Market Place, in the heart of the town, on Saturday 13 April.

Holocaust Memorial Day in Kettering
Victims of the holocaust will be remembered in Kettering this year as part of Holocaust Memorial Day.
The event will take place in the Manor House Gardens, off Sheep Street, at 2pm on Friday 26 January 2024.
Hosted by the Mayor of Kettering, Cllr Emily Fedorowycz, the event consists of a short, non-denominational service of remembrance for victims of genocide worldwide including current conflicts.
