New for 2025 we are running a Volunteer Fair on Saturday 31 May for the start of Volunteers' Week. Local groups can have a free pitch in the town centre, between the general market in Gold Street and the Summer Saturday event in the Market Place.

This is a chance for people to come along, find out what the groups are up to and sign up to volunteer. Come and find out what is happening support the groups and sign up to help as part of Volunteering Week. The event is free for groups to help support their activities.

Pitches are free although groups will need to have valid public liability insurance.

Groups will need to set up before 9am and remove their vehicles from the area. The event ends at 5pm after which time vehicles will be allowed back on site for pack down. Please note we have very limited availability for this event and may not be able to give everyone a pitch.
