What's On In Kettering

Easter Egg Trail

Saturday 1 to 15 April 2023 (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays)

Come and have some Easter fun in Kettering town centre this spring with a free trail around the shops.

Children can pick up a trail sheet from the library, the first stop on the treasure hunt, and then must follow the map around town to find all the hidden Easter eggs.

When they've found all the hidden eggs, youngsters can head to the final stop on the trail and pick up a free, sweet treat.

You can get a sheet from the library, or any of the shops on the trail, or use the link below to download and print it.

The trail starts at the library, then goes to Kafe Bloc, Butterwick, up Market Street to The Toy Box, Illicit, down High Street to Geek Retreat and The Bean Hive, along to Waterstones before ending at The Sweet Shop.

We hope you enjoy the trail - and please tag us in your photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and we will share them!

Fun in the Market Place this summer

Saturdays 29 April, 27 May, 24 June & 22 July 2023

Summer Saturdays will be taking over Kettering Market Place this year with a series of community events.

The events will bring a mixture of food and drink stalls, crafts and local business stands, live music and entertainment and games to the town centre.

Kettering Town Council is now looking for local traders and small businesses, as well as community groups and organisations, to get involved.

The events will bring some fun into the Market Place and be a chance for all ages to get together and enjoy the best of the town.

Last year's Streetfood Saturdays were really popular and we are hoping as many people as possible will come along to support the events this year.

The Summer Saturdays will be held on Saturdays 24 April, 27 May, 24 June and 22 July.

Kettering Town Council is inviting traders, local businesses and organisations to take up places at the events.

People can apply by contacting deputyclerk@ketteringtowncouncil.gov.uk - more information is on our markets page.

Midsummer Market

Wednesday 21 June 2023

The longest evening of the year is being celebrated in Kettering this June with an evening market.

The Midsummer Market is being held to support local charities, community groups and voluntary organisations on Wednesday 21 June 2023.

Local groups can have a stall in the Market Square free of charge to help them reach out to people in the town about the good work they are doing.

Stallholders can either apply for a full stall or can share stalls with groups - the stall is 3x3m and includes 2 tables.

The event will run from 5pm to 9pm and traders must arrive to set up by 4pm. The location is Kettering Market Place NN16 0AJ or What 3 Words locator https://w3w.co/panels.tunnel.payer.
