Ward initiatives fund
Every Town Councillor has £500 to spend each year in their ward. The money can be spent on communications, or on helping local groups with their projects, ideas or facilities.
Money can be pooled between councillors if they wish
The money does have to spent in the financial year and it must be committed to an identifiable purpose by the end of December each year. Any unspent money will be added to the Council's small grants budget.
Below are the rules on how the fund can be used and also below is an explanatory leaflet which sums up what the money can go on.
