Spooky trail around town this half term

Hallowe'en is coming to Kettering at half term with a spooky trail for children round town.

To complete the free trail, youngsters must collect a trail sheet from the library – the first stop on the treasure hunt.

They then follow the map around town to find all the hidden pumpkins and the secret symbols.

When they have found all the letters, they can rearrange them to find the missing words and claim a delicious prize.

Chair of the Markets and Events Committee, Cllr Craig Skinner, said: "The Easter Trail we ran earlier in the year was really successful – we had more than 300 children take part – so we hope lots of people will take part in our Hallowe'en Trail. As a town council we want to promote the town and get people into Kettering and enjoying what's on offer."

The trail will run from Saturday 21 to 28 October – excluding Sunday 22 October when lots of shops and library are closed.
