Food and Drink Festival in Kettering Saturday 15 October

Kettering Food and Drink festival returns this autumn on Saturday 15 October, from 10am to 6pm at Kettering Market Place.

Live music and street entertainment will compliment a huge offering of stalls, including:

Greek gyros, halloumi, loaded fries
Gourmet mac and cheese with pulled meats

Elderly can claim help with winter fuel bills

Help with heating bills this winter poster

Grants to help with winter fuel bills are being offered to elderly people living alone this winter. The grants are available to residents of Kettering and Barton Seagrave.

People claiming the money must not have more than £300 income per week, excluding benefits, and must be over the statutory retirement age.

Free defibrillator training

The North Northamptonshire First Responders Team, in conjunction with East Midlands Ambulance Service, are providing free defibrillator training at the Crescents Community Centre, Laburnham Crescent, Kettering, starting at 6.30pm on Monday 10th October. The session runs until 8pm. It's free and all are welcome.

Reading of the proclamation in Kettering

The official proclamation of the new Sovereign, King Charles III, will be read out by the Mayor of Kettering, Cllr Keli Watts on Sunday 11 September.
